Chris Riegel, Chief Executive Officer
A serial entrepreneur, STRATACACHE is Mr. Riegel's third successful startup in his 18 years in systems and networking technology ventures. Mr. Riegel attended Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, leaving prior to graduation to start his first enterprise networking business at the dawn of the Local Area Network age. With the rise of the Internet era in the mid 1990s, Mr. Riegel turned the resources of his successful businesses to funding and developing the core technology base of the STRATACACHE solution architecture used today.
Ken Cates, Vice President
OmniCast Division
Ken Cates is a software architect and developer who continues to expand and enhance the Omnicast product line for STRATACACHE. He was previously an employee of Starburst Communications, where he helped to define OmniCast’s MFTP protocol, and he has led the specification, design, and implementation of OmniCast. With 30 years experience in data communications programming, Ken previously worked at MITRE, Cambridge Telecommunications (CTX), GTE Telenet, Link Telecommunications, and more recently at Paceline Systems working on Infiniband switches. He also ran his own successful software consulting business for ten years.
Leo Jordan, Chief Financial Officer
Leo Jordan has more than 25 years experience in financial operations for manufacturing companies. Prior to joining STRATACACHE, he was vice president and controller of Ochs Industries (a major supplier to the technology industry). He has also served in accounting and controller positions at Lytton Electronics, Allied Technology, and Vulcan Toll & Tube Products. He holds a BS degree from Campbellsville University and an MBA in Business from Kensington University.
Laurent Gaultier, Vice President
ActiVia Division
Laurent Gautier manages all technical aspects of Research and Development at ActiVia Networks. Gautier was a key instigator of ActiVia's creation. He has been in the CDN business for over a decade. Gautier is highly specialized in Internet protocols, Multicast and real-time interactive applications over the Internet. He received a Ph.D. in 1998, having spent four years as part of the French INRIA's renowned RODEO project team. His thesis was entitled "Distributed Architecture for Multi-User Internet Applications."
Louie Hollmeyer, Vice President Marketing
Louie Hollmeyer has over 15 years of marketing experience, specializing in business-to-business (B2B) technology and software marketing. He is responsible for the company's worldwide strategic marketing, advertising, public relations, and corporate communications initiatives. Before joining STRATACACHE, Mr. Hollmeyer served as vice president of marketing for Seapine Software, a leading provider of application lifecycle management products. Prior to his tenure with Seapine, he served as director of marketing for both FORTE Industries and Valco Cincinnati where he was responsible for managing integrated marketing and lead-generation activities. Prior to that, he worked as a strategy and public relations consultant for the leading B2B marketing communications firm, Hensley Segal Rentschler. Mr. Hollmeyer, who is accredited by the Business Marketing Association as a certified business communicator, holds a Master's degree from Xavier University and a Bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
Marc Castejon, Executive Director
Marc Castejon leads the STRATACACHE advanced research team in Santa Clara, CA. With over 10 years of international experience, Mr. Castejon combines a unique blend of creativity and innovation with application experience and expertise to the development of software and technology products. As an initial member of the core ActiVia development team, he has spearheaded advancement of the ActiVia digital signage platform and its recent, seamless integration with audience measurement capabilities. Prior to joining STRATACACHE, Mr. Castejon worked in the satellite industry where he developed network protocol enhancements for space communication. Castejon holds a Master's degree in networking and distributed applications from the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis in France.
Benoît Mahé, Project Manager
Benoît Mahé designed and developed the STRATACACHE ActiVia for Media application front-end. With 14 years of experience in web technologies, Mr. Mahé possesses advanced expertise in user interface design, usability and web protocols. He is an initial member of the core ActiVia development team. Prior to joining STRATACACHE, Mr. Mahé worked at the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), created by Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the web. With Yves Lafon, he co-developed Jigsaw, the award-winning web server and premier experimental platform for W3C and the Internet community. Mr. Mahé holds a Master's degree in software engineering from the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis in France.
