How It Works

Software and Asset Tracking: OmniCast for STB maintains a
centralized database, tracking current information on device status, manufacturer, OS version, middleware version, memory capacity, and feature capabilities of each STB in the network. Since most service
provider networks include different makes and models of STBs, Omnicast is able to track the STB status and ensure that each STB is updated to the latest software version available.
Reliability: Omnicast for STB guarantees delivery of software updates to all live STB devices over any service window desired with full exception reporting and automatic scheduled retry or multiple pass job logic controls.
Easily Integrated: OmniCast can be easily integrated into any existing VoD or IPTV system (cable, satellite, wireless, or telco).
