Dayton, OH, November 22, 2011—STRATACACHE, headquartered in Dayton, OH, has teamed up with a group of charitable donors including ABC 22, FOX 45, Lastar, and the Dermatologists of Southwest Ohio to sponsor Thanksgiving in Dayton: A Feast of Giving.
Bringing the community together for the Thanksgiving holiday, the Feast of Giving celebration offers a free dinner to anyone who wishes to attend. The special Thanksgiving celebration will be held at the Dayton Convention Center on Thursday, November 24, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Free bus transportation for the event is provided by the Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and free parking is offered at the Dayton Convention Center garage.
With the help of many generous donations and over 500 volunteers coming together to assist with preparations, the complimentary Thanksgiving dinner will feature one ton of turkey, 1,500 pounds of coleslaw, green beans, potatoes and stuffing, along with 1,250 gallons of gravy, 15 cases of cranberry sauce, 667 dozen dinner rolls and 1,000 pies.
Along with great food, a festive atmosphere and fun entertainment, the event will also feature face painting and an arts and crafts area for children to enjoy.

Focusing on the spirit of giving, the event isbased on the following principles:
• To provide a dinner for anyone that might be spending the holiday alone.
• To provide a dinner for those that are homeless or less fortunate.
• To provide a dinner for anyone who wants to attend.
